Stop Motion Works
Pizza Floor

This project was completed within ten weeks. Boy was it fun to work on, I created this blue guy on a piece of paper ad got to make him out of clay. Then I nervously covered him in plaster, and then got to see him come out in all his shiny silicone glory. I was responsible for all aspects including the messy basement that he lives in. I had a lot of fun painting the dirty underwear, and gross cheesy floor.

Animatic

When I sculpted this guy I aimed to make him look fairly geometric and stylized.

I went ham on this guy's hair since i really wanted to give it a ton of texture.

I had to create a three part plaster mold for this guy because his feet were so big!

This was my first time injecting silicone into plaster to make a puppet. It all went fairly smoothly only having to sandwich the heels as they did not fill correctly. the first time

He was just like a newborn baby, minus all the crying.

I sewed these pants onto my puppet with some direction from my friend Andy Lohmann. I had a lot of needle wounds that day.

Each one of the eyelids was interchangeable since they were VacuFormed on top of the main face. The eyebrows were stuck on with museum wax.

I created this entire set in a day. Ripping apart old tattered fabrics to make the clothes and carving up pink foam to make the garbage mounds.
Paper Sheep

A project completed using paper cutout sheep. I've definitely used this animation to help me get to sleep. This project was a simple exercise to enhance my knowledge of the program Dragonframe.
